The purpose of this solicitation is for the City of Raleigh, Raleigh Water, to secure professional engineering services for the NRRRF Equalization Basin project. The purpose of this project is to identify additional equalization (EQ) basin requirements to meet the long-term needs for flow and load management at the Neuse River Resource Recovery Facility (NRRRF), evaluate EQ basin configuration alternatives and locations to identify the best-fit alternative, and complete design of the recommended future EQ alternative for implementation. This project will also include considerations for odor management, effective strategies for balancing diurnal vs wetweather flow management needs and incorporating effective influent flow monitoring.
