The Calgary locations listed in PART A-4 of the SOR have high priority public and private side lead services to be replaced by category. The Contractor to provide the replacement of public and/or private residential lead water services with minimal impact to current site conditions including, but not limited to, landscaping, existing City and private infrastructure, mature trees or other related natural features. Pre-Bid Meeting: N/A Bid bond not required. Consent of Surety required. 1. Eligible Bidders: This Statement of Requirements (SOR) is open only to those Qualified Contractors who have received notification from The City prior to Submission Deadline that they are qualified as a contractor under RFSO 21-2019 (Accelerated Public and Private Water Lead Service Replacement). 2. Summary of Project: The Calgary locations listed in PART A-4 of the SOR have high priority public and private side lead services to be replaced by category. The Contractor to provide the replacement of public and/or private residential lead water services with minimal impact to current site conditions including, but not limited to, landscaping, existing City and private infrastructure, mature trees or other related natural features. 3. Non-binding Fixed Price Construction Procurement Process: This procurement process is not intended to create, and, will not create, a formal, legally binding bidding process. It will instead be governed by the law applicable to direct commercial negotiations. 4. Agreement Term: Project based - until project completion date of 2022 August 22.
