A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** MAPS 4 - Animal Shelter - (Ward 7) It is the intent of this Section to require the field painting of all unfinished interior and exterior items included in the Project. The Contractor, or Painting Subcontractor, shall thoroughly examine the full Contract Documents to determine the extent of painting that is required. Through submission of his bid, the Contractor attests that he has identified all materials and items which are left unfinished by other trades and necessitate painting. This Section does not require painting of factory pre-finished items or adding prime coats on factory primed items. The "Bid Security" is that security submitted with the Bid which shall be in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or Bid Bond equal to five percent (5%) of the Bid or of an irrevocable letter of credit in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid and issued in accordance with the provisions of the Public Competitive Bidding Act of 1974, as amended.
