The duration of the work will be approximately two (2) weeks. CONDITION: Only general contractors or contractors specializing in this type of work who have an establishment in Quebec or, when an intergovernmental agreement is applicable, in Quebec or in a province or territory covered by this agreement and who possess the required license under the Building Act (RSQ, c. B-1.1) are authorized to bid. TENDER GUARANTEE: In the form of a surety bond by authorized company, equivalent to: 10% of the bid amount or a certified cheque, a money order, a bank draft payable to the applicant for the work (OMH de Shawinigan) , an irrevocable letter of guarantee in favor of the said applicant or bonds payable to bearer. These must be issued or guaranteed by the Government of Quebec or Canada and the term must not exceed five years. The value of these bonds must be equivalent to 5% of the amount of the tender and be valid for 60 days from the deadline for submission of tenders. The guarantee must be annexed to the tender. The Municipal Housing Office of Shawinigan is not bound to accept the lowest or any of the tenders received. Performance and Material Bond 50% is required. *Award is subject to final approval.
