Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Hinsdale, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Town of Hinsdale, acting through its Select Board, invites sealed bids for a municipal landfill-capping project at 106 Plunkett Reservoir Road in the Town of Hinsdale. The project shall include the installation of a perimeter road, paving of the existing transfer station, and placement of the soil cap on the existing landfill in the Town of Hinsdale. Bid prices shall include all equipment, labor, and materials costs to accomplish a complete and stable cap, perimeter road, and paved area as defined by project specifications. Contractors intending to bid on this project must have documented experience to the satisfaction of the Town of Hinsdale designated representative. Each bid shall be accompanied by a security or bond in the amount of 5% of the bid price. The successful bidder must furnish a 50% payment bond for the described work. No bidder may withdraw for a period of thirty (30) days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays after the opening date. Wage rates are subject to the minimum wage rate as per M.G.L. CH. 149 section 26 to 27F inclusive. The Town of Hinsdale is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
