The City of Torrington is seeking competitive bids from qualified companies to supply one (1) 4" discharge NT-3171 submersible style wastewater pump with Hard-Iron N-impeller for New Harwinton Road Pumping Station. Vendors will be required to supply manufacturer specifications of submersible pump mentioned with bid. Pump that will be supplied for this bid shall be new. Used or open boxes will not be accepted. All bid submissions and materials become property of the City and will not be returned. No fax or e-mail Bids will be accepted. The Deadline for submitted questions is Thursday, June 30, 2022 by 4:00 PM. All information by the City except by written addendum shall be informal and shall not be binding upon the City nor shall it furnish a basis for legal action by any proposer against the city. Vendor responsible to check City website for addendum/updates 48 hours prior to bid opening. It is the sole responsibility of the bidder to see that the bid is in the hands of the proper authority prior to the bid opening time. The City will not be liable for any costs incurred by a contractor in the preparation or submission of a proposal.
