Field Turf will be installing an artificial in-filled turf surface at the Turkey Brook Park soccer field. This project involves furnishing all labor, equipment, materials and means required to prepare the site for installation of the synthetic turf system as depicted in the Contract Documents for the Project. The principal Items of Work, include but are not limited to: Base Specification Mobilization 1 Lump Sum Site Clearing 1 Lump Sum Site Excavation, Earthwork and Grading 1 Lump Sum 12" High Density Polyethylene Pipe 357 Linear Feet 12" High Density Polyethylene Perforated Pipe 1180 Linear Feet Inlet, Type A 8 Units Manhole, 4' Diameter 2 Units Reconstructed Manhole, Using New Casting 4 Units Chain-Link Fence, Black Vinyl Coated, 8' High 520 Linear Feet Chain-Link Fence, Black Vinyl Coated, 4' High 820 Linear Feet Gate, Chain-Link Fence, Black Vinyl Coated, 5' Wide 2 Units Gate, Chain-Link Fence, Black Vinyl Coated, 10' Wide 2 Units Synthetic Turf System Foundation 1 Lump Sum Topsoil Spreading, 4" Thick (If and Where Dir.) 2300 Square Yards Fertilizing and Seeding, Type A (If and Where Dir.) 2300 Square Yards Straw Mulching (If and Where Dir.) 2300 Square Yards Specified Alternates Concrete Steps 25 Cubic Yards 2" Rigid Nonmetallic Conduit 500 Linear Feet Each Bid must be made upon the prescribed forms, furnished with the Contract Drawings and Specifications, accompanied by a Proposal Guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond from a Surety/Bonding Company licensed and qualified to do business in the State of New Jersey, a Certified Check, or Cashier's Check in the amount of ten (10%) of the total amount of the bid, but not to exceed $20,000.00 to insure signing of the contract. Bidder shall submit with a bid a Certificate of Surety from a Surety Company licensed and qualified to do business in the State of New Jersey, pursuant to Federal and/or State law as a Surety, stating that it will provide the contractor with a Performance Bond of the total bid price. Bids are to be delivered no later than the prevailing time indicated above. The delivery or non-delivery of the Bid is the sole responsibility of the Bidder. The Township will not be responsible for late postal delivery or late delivery of courier service. No Bids shall be accepted by the Township of Mount Olive after the above designated date and time. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq. (Affirmative Action); P.L. 1963, c. 150 (Prevailing Wage). The Successful Bidder will be required to submit a Payment Bond and Maintenance Bond. The Successful Bidder will be required to comply with all the provisions of Prevailing Wage Rates as determined by the New Jersey Department of Labor. The Township reserves the right to waive minor defects and informalities in any Bid and to reject any and all Bids, or to accept Bids that are, in the opinion of the Township, in the best interest of the Township
