Site work and paving for a road / highway in State College, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of July 21, 2022, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. This project consists of complete roadway reconstruction on South Patterson Street from West College Avenue to West Foster Avenue including roadway pavement structure replacement, curb and curb/gutter, driveway aprons, ADA Curb Ramps, sidewalk restoration, sanitary sewer main and lateral replacement, storm sewer improvements and all required appurtenances as shown and indicated on the Contract Drawings. Each bid is to be accompanied by a non-collusion affidavit and a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount bid and made payable to the Borough of State College. All bids will be presented to State College Borough Council at a public meeting. Borough Council may then accept or reject any or all bids or hold all bids for a period of 45 days from the date of Bid Opening before making a decision. Bids shall remain irrevocable for 45 days after the actual date of the opening thereof unless award is delayed due to the required approval of another government agency, the sale of bonds, or the award of a grant or grants; in which case, bids shall be irrevocable for one hundred twenty days in compliance with Act 317 of 1978 approved Nov. 26, 1978.
