Site Directions: Along S. Summit between Boyd and Faye Avenues The work consists of Installing 750 LF of 6 water line, 50 LF Horizontal Directional Drilled 6 HDPE pipe, reconnecting water services, and various incidental items. Contractors shall be required to submit proof of at least three years of experience in municipal water construction. The proof shall consist of at least three projects completed within the last three years, along with references for each project. Any specialty subcontractors shall be required to submit proof of experience of at least three years for the specialty work to be performed. The proof shall be submitted with the bid. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to the Owner in the amount of five percent of Bidder s maximum Bid price in the form of a Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of paragraph 5.01 and 5.02 of the General Conditions for bids greater than $150,000. Bid security may be in the form of a certified check or bank money order for bids $150,000 or less. The successful bidder will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds, each in the amount at least equal to the Contract Price as faithful performance and payment of all of Contractor s obligations under the Contract Documents, and shall be executed by such sureties as are named in the list of Companies Holding Certificates of Authority as Acceptable Sureties on Federal Bonds and as Acceptable Reinsuring Companies as published in Circular 570 (amended) by the Financial Management Service, Surety Bond Branch, U.S. Department of the Treasury. Pursuant to W.S. 16-6-106, preference is hereby given to materials, supplies, agricultural products, equipment, machinery and provisions produced, manufactured or grown in Wyoming, or supplied by a resident of the state, quality being equal to articles offered by the competitors outside of the state .
