Site work and paving for a road / highway in Westport, Oregon. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of March 7, 2024, per owner a design team has been identified. Plans are currently being reviewed by Oregon Department of Transportation. Contractor bidding expected in late Fall 2024 or early Spring 2025 with construction in Spring 2025. The estimated construction cost range is $175,000 to $225,000. Clatsop County Public Works is seeking proposals from experienced and qualified engineering firms to provide engineering design services, including preparation of final design plans, specifications and a bid package for a bypass road located approximately 1,000 feet west of the Westport Ferry Road and Highway 30 intersection in Westport, Oregon. There will also be improvements required for the existing intersections in Westport for this project. The County will supply all topographic info. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
