The City of Homestead Village requests qualifications for preliminary engineering services and subsequent engineering design services to assist in the development of a wastewater engineering study for wastewater collection and treatment systems improvements. The study will be funded through Missouri Department of Natural Resources, Financial Assistance Centers (FAC) awarding State of Missouri American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) grant. Information provided to the city must include: a) The specialized experience and technical competence of the firm with respect to sewer systems. b) The capacity and capability of the firm to perform the work in question, including specialized services by DNR's application deadline of July 14, 2022. c) The firm's proximity to and familiarity with the area in which the project is located; and; The firm will be selected based on the above qualifications. Once the most qualified firm is selected, a cost for preliminary engineering will be negotiated separately from the cost for engineering design. The ability to begin work immediately and guarantee submittal to DNR within the July 14, 2022 deadline shall receive primary consideration.
