The scheduled work for the Fire Station 15 Renovation Project located at 3450 Jack's Valley Road, Carson City, Nevada 89705, consists of interior and exterior demolition, erection of interior walls, exterior CMU infill with door and window installation, T-Bar Ceiling, new HVAC, mini kitchen, and remodel of restroom facilities with the installation of showers. Site improvements will include the installation of chain link fence enclosure adjacent to the structure and concrete pad and apron. The State Labor Commissioner has not assigned a Public Works Project Number to this project. NRS 338.147 provides for a five percent (5%) bidder preference to bidders who qualify for the preference. The project will require the successful contractor to prepare the necessary plans and submittals necessary to obtain building permits prior to construction. The successful contractor will be responsible for the preparation of the necessary construction plans and details required for permitting purposes.
