Site work for a water / sewer project in Richmond Hill, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for site work for a levee.

Mill Pond Stormwater Rehabilitation Project. Includes the Heritage Estates SWM Facility, Mill Pond Park & valleyland erosion sites north & south of the Mill Pond. TIMELINE: TMIG has been contracted to complete the Environmental Assessment & Dillon Consulting to complete the Master Plan. A notice of completion and project file report was posted by the city late December 2023. Overall evaluation study recommends moderate rehabilitation of SWMF 17-3 (sediment clean out and retrofit upgrades), rehabilitation of the existing outfall channel from SWMF 17-3 into the Upper East Don River, partial sediment removal from Mill Pond, construction of bottom-draw/extended detention outlet control structure from Mill Pond, and trail realignments to reduce the number of watercourse crossing points (and replacement of bridges at the retained crossing locations). Detailed design would not commence until at least 2025 & take 2 years to complete. Updates may be available spring 2025.
