Site work for a transportation facility in Dallas, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.
General Description: Contract for Runway Rubber Removal and Pavement Marking/Paint Removal with the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport Board, by means of a self-contained captive water blasting system. This system shall remove _rubber deposits, paint and thermoplastic paint markings in a variety of areas including runways, taxiways, aprons and service roads. Contract Term: 3-year period. Minority/Women-Owned Business Enterprise Goal: Goal for this contract is 10 %. Applicable Laws: This solicitation is being conducted in accordance with Texas Local Government Code Title 8, Subtitle A, Chapter 252. A minimum of 100,000 square feet of runway rubber removal work will be required by the Board on an individual call/notification basis. The Contractor shall begin the rubber removal work no less than thirty (30) calendar days from notification by the Board. It is anticipated that said calls may be issued at any time during each year of this Contract. It is also anticipated that said calls may be issued approximately four (4) to five (5) times a year.
