Renovation of a military facility in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
B226 HVAC Replacement - Construction, Fort Leavenw orth, Kansas Scope of Work: The renovation w ill replace the current variable refrigerant flow system w ith 4 pipe fan coil units served by boilers and a chiller. The dedicated outdoor air system (DOAS) w ill also be replaced. Storage spaces w ill be converted to mechanical rooms. The attic floor structural framing w ill be strengthened to support the new DOAS unit. Building 226 is part of the Fort Leavenw orth National Historic Landmark District. The Secretary of the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties w ill apply. This requirement is 100% set aside of Small Businesses This Request for Proposal (RFP) w ill result in the aw ard of single Design-Bid-Build Firm-Fixed Price Construction Contract. The North American Industry Classif ication (NAICS) Code is 238220 w ith a small business size standard of $16.5 Million Dollars. The magnitude of this project is betw een $1 Million to $5 Million Dollars.
