The City of Kent Parks, Recreation, and Community Services Department (Kent Parks) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to complete a 2023-2038 Kent Parks Climate Resiliency and Sustainability Plan. The selected Consultant will work with the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department to help us create a 15-year (2023-2038) climate resiliency and sustainability plan and approach, that aligns with departmental, City and County environmental goals. The completed plan will guide Kent Parks budgets, grant applications and work plans, along with prioritization of capital re-investments and/or new development to parks and facilities and to help Kent Parks inform and guide the City's Comprehensive Planning (coming in 2023) and any future sustainability planning citywide on departmental needs.
