All work shall be new and of first quality. All Work shall be in accordance with applicable State and Local Building Codes & Regulations, OSHA and similar Occupational, Safety and Health requirements and regulations, and good construction practices. o Disconnection, removal and proper disposal of existing boiler. o Furnish, install and assembly of a Smith 28HE-RTS-W-14 boiler with Power Flame Modulation: C3-0 straight oil burner with direct spark ignition. o Furnish and install all necessary pipe valves and fittings, including (2) 5" butterfly valves. All pipe work to be grooved fittings. o Furnish and install all oil piping required to connect the new burner to the existing oil feed lines. o Furnish and install all galvanized wall pipe to connect the boiler vent to the existing breeching. Repair any deficiencies in the existing piping. o Furnish and install all pipe insulation on water piping with 1" fiberglass pipe wrap. o Furnish and install all line and low voltage electrical work including communication with the energy management system. o Start-up of the boiler under the direction of an authorized Smith representative with instructions to SPS on all systems as required. o All fire caulk or fire stopping required for penetrations through fire / smoke walls o All necessary shoring, scaffolds, rigging, bracing, handling, unloading of items supplied under this contract or by others but installed by this trade. o All areas shall be kept in a broom clean condition daily
