Conditions and Requirements Note that this project is being funded by a Community Development Block grant which requires compliance with Davis-Bacon conditions and requirements as noted below Attention to bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to condition of employment to be observed and Federal prevailing wages rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3 of the 1968 Housing Act, Segregated Facility, Section 109 of the 1984 housing and Community Development Act and executive Order 11246, and the Civil Rights Act of 1984. It shall be the Owner s right to cash any Bidder s bond if, after being selected that Bidder has been awarded the contract on the basis of the bid summited herewith, the Bidder refuses or fails to sign the contract and furnish the required Bonds and Certificates of Insurance. 6. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to accept any bid, and to waive any formalities. 7. Faxed or emailed modifications will be considered if received before the time stated above for opening bids. 8. Contractors shall base their Proposals only upon items in the Drawings, Specifications, and Addenda. Do not write substitute proposals into the Form of Proposal 9. Each Bidder s Proposal shall include a sum sufficient to cover the cost of Statutory, Performance, and Labour and Material Bond Bonds. 10. Contractor shall guarantee Bids for 30 calendar days after Bid Opening or as mutually negotiated based on volatility of bids from suppliers.
