The project consists of chip seal of approximately 14,521 square yards of pavement on McCoy Road (City of Sun Prairie limits to Termini) and Nelson Road (Reiner Road towards Felland Road at city of Madison Limits). Award of the Contract: It is anticipated that the Burke Town Board will select and award the contract the evening of Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at the regularly scheduled Town Board Meeting, which starts at 6:00 p.m. If the bid is accepted, the bidder shall submit the required certificate of insurance within 5 days after notice of award. Failure on the part of the bidder will result in the withdrawal of the award. All work awarded is to be completed during the 2022 construction season no later than October 1, 2022 and must be warranted for a minimum of one year. 0The Town of Burke reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any technicalities, and accept any bid, which it deems advantageous to the Town. The Town also reserves the right to decrease the size of the initial plan based on budgetary limitations. No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of bids without the consent of the Town of Burke for a period of 60 days after the scheduled time of closing bids. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
