Renovation of a mixed-use development in Orlando, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.

As of November 14, 2022, the project has been awarded and is expected to start in 2023 and complete in 2025. As of August 29, 2022, project award is still pending. When awarded, a project timeline has not been confirmed but is expected to start early 2023. Scope of work includes, but is not limited to concrete, masonry, waterproofing, fireproofing, doors, frames and hardware, tile, resilient tile and carpet, fire suppression, plumbing and heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), electrical and low voltage work, elevators and an escalator for four aircraft gates as part of the expansion of Terminal C at the Orlando International Airport and everything required by design intent to complete the project. The time of completion for this Work is anticipated to be 1095 calendar days to achieve Substantial Completion; exact time requirements are defined in the Instructions to Bidders. A Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the sum of the Total Bid Price will be required for this Project. Exact Bid Guarantee period requirements are defined in the Instructions to Bidders. The Authority, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. All Bidders are hereby notified that they must comply with: 1) the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) requirements of 49 CFR Part 26, as referenced in the Owner's Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Participation Program and Affirmative Action requirements; 2) the Buy American requirements imposed by 49 USC 50101; 3) the minimum prevailing wage rates established by the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Labor (Davis Bacon requirements); 4) Certification Regarding Lobbying Pursuant to 49 CFR Part 20 for Contracts, Grants, Loans, and Cooperative Agreements; 5) Certification Regarding Debarment, Suspension, Ineligibility And Voluntary Exclusion (2 CFR Part 1200,2 CFR Part 180, and the Owner's Policy Section 130.04); 6) Certification Regarding Foreign Trade Restriction; 7) the Standard Title VI Assurances and Nondiscrimination Provisions; 8) the Foreign Trade Restriction Certification (49 USC 50104 and 49 CFR part 30); and, 9) the procurement of recovered materials pursuant to the Solid Waste Disposal Act, as amended by the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, and the regulatory provisions of 40 CFR Part 247. The Owner, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 USC 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. The requirements of 49 CFR part 26 apply to this Contract. It is the policy of the Owner to practice nondiscrimination based on race, color, sex or national origin in the award or performance of this Contract. The Owner encourages participation by all firms qualifying under this solicitation regardless of business size or ownership. The goals and timetables for minority and female participation, expressed in percentage terms for the Contractor's aggregate work force in each trade on all construction work in the covered area are as follows: Timetables: Goals for minority participation for each trade: 15.5% Goals for female participation in each trade: 6.9% The Owner's award of this Contract is conditioned upon the Bidder satisfying the good faith effort requirements of 49 CFR 26.53. The DBE requirements are set forth in General Provisions Section 20-28 of this Solicitation. The DBE Participation Goal for this Contract is 20%.
