Cut off existing net posts at grade, leave pickleball net posts in-place. Core through concrete and install new pickleball net posts and center tie downs. Core through concrete along center line, drive new 3" galvanized posts, install new 6' high divider fence with top and bottom rail to locations shown on plans. Rout joints, remove all material, fill with court patch binder over concrete. Power wash courts and remove all loose paint and debris. Apply two coats of acrylic resurfacer and two coats of color (colors as shown on plans). Mask, line prime and apply two coats of white line paint for pickleball. Supply and install six new pickleball nets and center tie downs. Clean up site. A certified check or satisfactory Bid Bond payable to the City of Beloit in the amount of 5% of the Bid shall accompany each bid as a guarantee, that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the Agreement, the Contract Performance Bond and Payment Bond, as required by the Contract Documents, within ten (10) days after the Notice of Award of the Contract by the City of Beloit. Failure of the part of the Bidder to do so will result in forfeiture of the Bidder's certified check or Bid Bond to the City of Beloit as liquidated damages. CONTRACT SECURITY: The Bidder to whom a Contract is awarded shall be required to furnish both a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond acceptable to the City of Beloit for 110% of the Contract Price for each of the above Bonds, in accordance with the requirement of the Contract Documents. BID REJECTION: The City of Beloit reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informalities in bidding, or to accept the bid or bids, which best serve the interests of the City of Beloit. BID WITHDRAWAL: No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled opening of the bids without the consent of the City of Beloit. All work is to be fully completed by Monday, July 3, 2023. By fully completed, it is intended all work included as part of this contract be fully completed, including items such as clean-up, repairs to existing property, and punch-list items.
