Starr Corporation may elect to submit a proposal on these bid packages. Starr Corporation's proposal will be submitted no later than 12:00 PM on the bid date. Bids will be opened with a representative of the owner. This early bid delivery is designed to give all bidders an assurance of an open, competitive, and fair bidding environment. Original Solicitation below: The scope of work includes a new approximately 40,000 square foot building located on the campus of College of Southern Idaho's Twin Falls campus. The Design Professional will study and present various site options to DPW and CSI for the final building site. Uses within the new building will include shops, classrooms, team study rooms, faculty offices, and storage areas for CSI. Programs include Heavy Duty Diesel Truck Service, Welding, Auto Mechanics, Heavy and Agricultural Equipment Technology, Industrial Engineering and Autobody Repair Technology. Additional programs may be considered during the programming phase. With the current market volatility and long material procurement schedules, DPW recognizes that adding a CM/GC to the team will benefit with keeping the project in budget and on schedule, as well as ensuring that the bid process is successful. A total project budget has been established at $15,000,000 and includes fees (A/E and CM/GC), commissioning services, contingencies, tests, and other project related expenses. A construction budget has been set at $13,000,000.00. A complete construction cost estimate and construction schedule will be required following CM/GC's review of the Schematic Design set of drawings and must be updated throughout the Construction Documents process.
