Site work for a water / sewer project in McDowell, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project consists of construction services for Southern Water and Sewer District proposed replacement of aging waterlines that extends from the community of Wayland and running north along KY Route 7 to the community of Lackey both located Floyd County, Kentucky. Bids will be received for a single prime contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis. Prevailing wage rates do not apply to this project. The Issuing Office for the bidding documents is Environmental Design Consultants, Inc, 43 Village Street, Pikeville, KY 41501, Timothy M. Campoy, PE, 606-437-0100 ext. 308 office or email at tmcampoy@bellsouth.net. Prospective Bidders may examine the bidding documents at the issuing office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 am - 4:00 pm local time, by appointment only. Copies of the bidding documents can be obtained from the issuing office as described below. Bidding Documents also may be examined at the office of Southern Water and Sewer District, 245 KY Route 680, McDowell, KY 41647, Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00 am- 4:00 pm. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any and all bids. Minority & Women Owned businesses are encouraged to bid.
