Please provide as part of your Statement of Qualifications: similar projects within
the greater Charlotte area with a percentage of design cost of total construction cost,
an hourly rate schedule per professional class (including subcontractors), an
estimated number of hours the project will take to complete, a timeline for
completion of design, and list any subcontractors that will be a part of the design
team, if any. There is no page limit to the submittals, but please try to keep them as
concise as possible. Engineering firms shall demonstrate ability to provide turnkey
design, construction documents, permitting, bidding, and construction
administration services as required for each project. Work may include, but shall not
be limited to, the following:

o Civil Engineering
o Hydraulic Engineering/CLOMR/LOMR/NO Rise Analysis
o Stream Restoration, Enhancement and Stabilization

In addition, Engineering firms shall demonstrate ability to secure donated property
or easements necessary to construct projects. The Engineering firm shall describe
their approach and/or experience to securing necessary easements within a fixed
time period leading to a decision by the County to proceed into the design phase.

DANA'S BRANCH STREAM RESTORATION PROJECT:
o The project limits are approximately 18,050 linear feet. This includes 9,250
linear feet of minor stream from parcel 00541105 to the northwest with
several tributaries to the north and 8800 linear feet of major stream,
McDowell Creek, from parcel 00541105 to Sam Furr Road (NC Highway
73). (See map attached for project area.) The stream runs throughout the
Westmoreland Lake and Magnolia Estates neighborhoods.
o The project goals are to solidify stream banks and prevent future erosion
while improving water quality to promote aquatic life, both flora and fauna
