Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Tracadie-Sheila, New Brunswick. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

The work under this Contract includes, but is not limited to the following: .1 Supply and install warning and closure signage as per drawing SK-1 (sign layout for trail bridge closure), in Appendix B .2 Supply and installation of construction access, envionmental protection, and safety barricades, as required. .3 Removal of existing railing system, approach rails, deck, and timber ties as indicated on the drawings. .4 Replacement of one timber stringer in south approach span as indicated on the drawings. .5 Supply and install of one new timber stringer in north approach span as indicated on the drawings. .6 Supply and install temporary support of bridge span as required to perform pier rehabilitation. .7 Rehabilitation of north-end support pier, including demolition and disposal of deteriorated timber beams, supply and install of reinforced concrete and new timber beams as indicated on the drawings. .8 Excavation and removal of deteriorated timber crib at north abutment. .9 Supply and install of new timber crib abutment, including reinforced concrete pad, as indicated on the drawings. .10 Supply and install of new railing system, ties, decking, and wear surface as indicated on the drawings. .11 Supply and install of approach railings as indicated on the drawings. .12 Supply and install asphalt wear surface at approaches to bridge as indicated on the drawings. .13 Removal of temporary works and project site clean-up.
