In the past few years, the Town of Frederick has experienced an increase in groundwater discharge. This has led to nuisance flows into storm water detention ponds and sump pumps discharging across public sidewalks and gutters. The Town of Frederick is soliciting proposals from qualified Consultants for a groundwater impact study. This study will provide recommendations on how to address groundwater concerns. Qualifications of the Consultant and staff proposed to perform the work on this project. The expected design of the project includes hydrogeology, groundwater engineering, civil engineering, hydraulics, hydrology, and legal review. Proposals should demonstrate firm or staff ability to provide these services. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
