Renovation of a municipal facility in Whitehall, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Town Board of the Town of Whitehall is accepting bids for the construction of a metal re-roof for the highway garage located at 10072 Route US 4, Whitehall, NY 12887. Proposals must be accompanied by the Statement of Non-Collusion in conformity with the requirements of Section 103-D of the General Municipal Law. Proposals that carry any omissions, erasures, alterations, or additions may be rejected as informal. Corporations submitting proposals shall be authorized to do business in the State of New York. The roof shall be installed within 45 calendar days of the agreed start of construction between the owner and the bidder. Within 5 days of the proposed Contract Agreement form the Town Board; the accepted low bidder shall return the Contract Agreement to the Town of Whitehall, properly executed, as required by this Agreement. Low bidders who cannot meet these provisions may be subject to disqualification. Time is of the essence; therefore, construction shall begin within ten days of all material delivery to the contractor. Completion of the work must be within the time frame as agreed between the Town of Whitehall and the Contractor. The Town of Whitehall reserves the unrestricted right to accept or reject any and/or proposals.
