Roofing Contractors are invited to submit in triplicate a lump sum bid for a Roofing Contract, under seal to the Owner, at the Owner's current office: 8511 Hillcrest Road, Kansas City, MO 64138, for the above project. ATTENTION is called to the provisions for Equal Employment Opportunity, and payment of not less than the prevailing wage as determined by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations of the State of Missouri applicable to this project. Bids shall be accompanied with bid security in the amount of five (5) percent of the Bid, including additive alternates, in the form of a Bid Bond, certified check, or cashier's check made payable to Developmental Disability Services of Jackson County - EITAS. Unsuccessful bidders shall be entitled to the return of surety bonds or deposits. The successful bidder shall forfeit any deposit or surety bond required by the failure on the bidder's part to enter into a contract within ten (10) calendar days. The successful bidder will be required to furnish at their own expense a corporate surety payment bond and corporate surety performance bond, in a sum equal to the full amount of the contract payable to Developmental Disability Services of Jackson County - EITAS, to insure faithful performance of all contract provisions.
