This specification covers the electrical characteristics and mechanical features of single-phase, 60 Hertz, self-cooled, dead-front, compartmental-type, pole-mounted, temporary service pole. All characteristics, definitions, terminology, etc., except as specifically outlined in this specification, shall be in accordance with the 2017 NFPA 70 / NEC, latest revisions. You are invited to submit a proposal to supply Huntsville Utilities with temporary service poles. The period of support will be for one year with an option to extend for two additional one-year periods, depending upon mutual agreement of both parties. Please submit your proposal on the final pages of the enclosed Proposal Form. For purposes of this query, we will consider the pre-approved manufacturers or a proven equivalent. If you propose an equivalent manufacturer, provide descriptive literature which demonstrates that our requirements are met. Huntsville Utilities is the sole judge of equivalency. Advise of manufacturer and model quoted. Advise of any price break quantities. Quote terms, availability, firm price, and FOB Huntsville, Alabama. However, we reserve the right to consider alternative pricing proposals or award of like items on a lot basis.
