Site work and paving for a road / highway in Lockbourne, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
PURPOSE: To purchase ASPHALT SEALCOAT AND ROAD CRACK REPAIRS at the Parsons Avenue Water Plant (PAWP) located at 5600 Parsons Ave., Lockbourne, Ohio 43137. This service shall be invoiced in one lump sum. Detailed Scope of Service: Blacktop grind and patch repair approximately 68 sq. yd. Grind asphalt using milling machine, remove loose material and clean surface. Apply tack at 1 gal per sq. yd. Pave 1.5" of 448 type 1 asphalt surface mix and roll. Seal coat approximately 22,300 sq. yd. Asphalt shall be thoroughly cleaned with power broom system, leaving the pavement free of dirt and debris. Seal coat using 2 coats of SealMaster "MasterSeal" emulsion pavement sealer mixed with 3-5# sand/gal. Contractor shall show proof of granular sand segregation. Both coats to be sprayed in accordance with manufacturer's recommendation. V-M or Top Tuff latex additive shall be added to material at 2%. Cracks shall be cleaned, then sealed using hot pour rubberized crack filler in 1/8" and wider cracks. Re-stripe roads to existing layout. BIDDING INSTRUCTIONS: Line 10 - Please quote your total cost for this service. Successful bidders, upon notice of award of these services, must provide a copy to the Division of Water designee a current State of Ohio BWC insurance certificate, appropriate contractor licenses, and a copy of the company's current General Liability Insurance.
