1.02 Description of Proposals Sought: The Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation (CTCR) is requesting proposals from individuals or contractors who have proven experience with construction at fish hatcheries, water treatment plants, or similar facilities. The CTCR Resident Fish Hatchery was constructed in 1989 and is located at 79 Tribal Hatchery Rd. Bridgeport, WA. 98813. In 2002, the facility expanded its rearing potential by constructing two standard concrete raceways. As a way to cut costs, water was conveyed to these new raceways off of the main line through an 18-inch iron ductile pipe to one 8-inch fabricated stainless steel Header Pipe. This Header Pipe is a "T" configuration affixed with two gate valves that convey water to the raceways through 2-inch threaded PVC openings. Additionally, a Siemens SITRAN F M MAG 5000 electromagnetic flowmeter and transmitter is installed, however, if both rearing vessels are in operation you cannot differentiate flow to each vessel since it calculates total flow through the shared Header. The project consists of utilizing as much of the existing piping and equipment to convey and calculate water flow to each rearing vessel. Contractor(s) to consider the most cost effective proposal and will install the same equipment (Siemens) that is compatible with existing monitoring systems. There are no engineered design draws for this project, however, recent as-builds on-site show existing piping and electrical. The proposal must include hourly rates for all persons employed by or sub-contracted with the Contractor to provide the work described herein, as well as rates for travel and other expenses when travel is necessary.
