Saving Project...

Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Grande Prairie, Alberta. Completed plans call for the construction of a 1,280-square-foot, three-story above grade fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.

The purpose of this Negotiated Request for Proposal (NRFP) is to qualify one (1) Contractor to Build and Install a Fire Services Training Centre for a collective of Municipalities including the County of Grande Prairie, the City of Grande Prairie and the MD of Greenview. The CGPRFS is committed to building a new Regional Emergency Training Facility in 2023/2024 with a 20- year life span: Supply and Installation of Fire Training Facility This project envisions the design and construction of an engineered four (3) story modular steel structure with approximately 1,280 square feet on the main floor build to encompass the NFPA 1402 and 1403 standard. Design and construction of the training facility shall be in accordance with Alberta Safety Codes (including Building, Gas, and Electrical) and the Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act. This state-of-the-art facility is to provide the CGPRFS the ability to train both its fulltime, volunteer, industry partners and allied County of Grande Prairie personnel, with the most realistic live-fire scenarios. Provide the opportunities to train and validate required training to maintain core competencies for the CGPRFS service delivery model. A warranty of a period no less than one year will be required.
