**As of September 12, 2022, The landfill subsequently met with Talaski Excavating to determine their willingness to conduct the work, and a lump sum price of $175,000 was proposed by Talaski to complete the work under the existing Operations contract, as had been previously done. However, to do the work under the existing contract, a financial increase to the “Additional Work” section of the contract is required. Accordingly, Matt Williams from the Purchasing Division propose an increase to the Landfill Operations contract in the amount of $175,000 to provide for the execution of this project, and request an approval at the Board of Commissioners meeting on September 15th of this year. The Septage Holding Tanks Replacement Project includes emptying and removing existing holding tanks and associated fittings, regrading the sand layer in an existing containment structure, placing the new tanks and all other related work.
