Renovation of an educational facility in Berkeley, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 2,873-square-foot educational facility.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: 1. A new, full height wall partition with storefront door and sidelite between the cold plunge room (144B) and taping room (144). 2. New storefront viewing window between therapy room (144) and Aqua therapy room (144A). 3. Demolition and replacement of casework the taping and therapy rooms (144), cold plunge room (144B) and cold plunge vestibule (144C). 4. New interior finishes. 5. New PT furniture and AV equipment at the taping and therapy room (144); OFCI. 6. New double tier, wall mounted wire mesh shelving for towel storage at the cold plunge room (144B). 7. New accessible sink and counter top space at the taping room (144). 8. Install new soap dispensers at Men's (170B) and Women's (170C) Restrooms; OFCI. 9. New door 120BA at cold plunge vestibule (144C). 10. New automatic door actuation bars for doors 120BA on Level 1 at the cold plunge vestibule, and door (2C4A) on Level 2 at entry lobby. Documentation that the bidder has successfully completed the following: a. A minimum of three (3) and a maximum of five (5) comparable interior renovation projects with a construction value of $425,000 or greater, completed in the past 5 years that demonstrate the bidder's ability to successfully complete the project with respect to project size, cost, use, complexity, etc. DO NOT include projects currently under construction. All submitted projects must be within the immediate nine Bay Area counties. Include the following for each project: (a) project name, (b) project address, (c) owner's name, (d) contract value at award, (e) total Change Order value, (f) completion date, (g) Owner's Representative email address and current phone number and (h) brief scope. All interior renovation projects on all UC Campuses and National Labs (LBNL, LLNL) within the last 5 years. Addendum #1 was issued 7-7-2022. Note from Marvin Collins Construction: "Site work will only be approved after all long lead materials are purchased, delivered and in hand (both Owner and GC furnished) and at the conclusion of the football season, January 2023." When submitting a bid proposal, please be sure to account for any labor cost that may increase from now to January 2023.
