For the following item: PURCHASE AND DELIVERY OF APPROXIMATELY 19,000 LBS. OF DRY POLYMER IN 50 OR 55 LB. BAGS, 30 BAGS PER PALLET, to the Authority's main treatment plant. The successful Bidder will be required to enter into a contract with the Authority to supply polymer for a one-year time period. All bids must be addressed to the RARITAN TOWNSHIP MUNICIPAL UTILITIES AUTHORITY and enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name of the item bid on the outside of the envelope; and should be accompanied by a Ownership Disclosure Statement, Non-Collusion Certification, Experience Statement, Equipment List, Certificate of Employee Information Report, NJ Business Registration Certificate and Form of Proposal accompanied by a proposal guarantee in the form of a bid bond, certified check or cash for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid, but not exceeding $20,000.00. Please note, all parties interested in bidding on this item MUST BE PRE-QUALIFIED BY JAR TESTING THE POLYMER THEY INTEND TO SUBMIT A BID ON. Arrangements to perform the pre-qualification jar testing can be made by contacting Ray Frank, Chief Operator, at (908) 782-7453 x 13. Pre-qualifying jar testing will be done between Monday, July 25, 2022 through and including Friday, July 29, 2022. No pre-qualifying will be done after Friday, July 29, 2022 for this item, and no bid will be accepted from any prospective supplier of Dry Polymer which has not been pre-qualified. BIDDERS ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF N.J.S.A.10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C.17:27 et. seq." The award of the Contract for providing the above item will be made within Sixty (60) Days of the bid opening at a regular meeting of the RARITAN TOWNSHIP MUNICIPAL UTILITIES AUTHORITY'S BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, who reserves the right to waive formalities and may accept or reject any part or all of the submitted bid proposal (s) as they may determine to be in the best interest of the Authority.
