Renovation of a swimming pool in Aurora, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a swimming pool.
The Town invites Bids for the supply of all labour, materials and equipment necessary for the replacement of pool liner for both the lap and leisure pools at the Stronach Aurora Recreation Complex (SARC), located at 1400 Wellington St. East, Aurora, ON. The Work will also include the removal and disposal of the existing pool liners, repairs to gutters as required, and complete system pressure testing. The Town operates three (3) community pools inside the SARC: a lap pool, a hydrotherapy pool, and a leisure pool, all of which were constructed using Myrtha Pools panel wall and membrane floor system. Both the lap and leisure pools have been experiencing water loss and require pool liner replacements. The hydrotherapy pool is excluded from the scope of work. All Work must be exclusively conducted during the Stronach Aurora Recreation Complex annual maintenance shutdown from September 6 to 19, 2022 and all the Work under the Contract must be completed on or before September 19, 2022. The Town shall not permit or consider any requests for delays, time extensions or rescheduling to dates outside of the maintenance shutdown period outlined above.
