MARIPOSA COUNTY invites proposals from qualified Brushing Service Contractors to provide fuel reduction and vegetation clearance services along approximately 2.25 miles of Colorado Road. Said services must meet all applicable Federal, State and/or Local regulations. The work to be done consists, in general, of removing all vegetation 18 inches in diameter or smaller within or hanging over the road. Vegetation that is cut, and existing debris and branches on the ground, shall be chipped and spread. Contractor will make every reasonable effort to ensure that all culvert and drainage structures remain free of woody debris. Contractor shall provide traffic control in accordance with a T13-Lane Closure Reverse Control detail. The project requires prevailing wage and DIR registration. Contractor must possess a current LTO A or C-61/D-49 License.
