The overall scope of work for this project focuses on the safety and comfort of theater patrons. This will involve widening aisles and the addition of railings. This will also include lighting and electrical upgrades. Additionally, interior floor and ceiling finishes will be renewed. A separate contractor will remove existing theater seating at the commencement of the project, and will replace all seating with new upon completion of all other work. Please refer to Exhibit 1 for Project plans and design. Project specifications can be found in Exhibit 2. Marinette County owns the buildings and grounds of the UW Green Bay Marinette Campus. We are working with campus staff to complete various improvements at the Theater on the Bay. As part of this phase, the following interior renovations will be completed: Concrete patching/pouring and polishing, lighting upgrades, installation of metal pipe railings, patching and painting and floor covering replacement. The timeframe for this project is approximately August 1st - September 16th Preference may be given to a submission that can meet the project timeframe. Clearly mark the e-mail "Questions for RFB#22-011- 34 - UW GREEN BAY MARINETTE CAMPUS THEATER ON THE BAY INTERIOR RENOVATIONS." Phone call or faxed questions will not be accepted. Marinette County reserves the right to make changes to the project. Any changes in the scope of services shall be mutually agreed upon in writing by the Vendor and the County. Marinette County shall not be liable for any losses incurred by the vendor making the bid throughout this process. The cost of preparing a response to this RFB is not reimbursable in part or in whole to the vendor. Any information received will become the property of Marinette County and a matter of public record. Any proprietary material or information should be marked and submitted as a supplement to the overall qualifications to allow the County to protect the information as warranted. Notwithstanding any other provisions of the RFB, Marinette County reserves the right to reject any or all bid submissions, to waive any irregularity or informality in a submission, and to accept or reject any item or a combination of items when doing so would be to the advantage of Marinette County or its taxpayers.
