Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is not expected to start prior to December 2023. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Perpetuation project of 3.5 miles to mill and overlay 4" of asphalt on STH 57 /167 from Buntrock Ave. to CTH W in the city of Mequon in Ozaukee County. Multiple curb ramps that will need to be evaluated and improved. Additional maintenance items include cleaning, repairing & replacing inlets & manholes, plus spot curb & gutter, and sidewalk replacements. Project also includes signing coordination, traffic management plan and pavement marking improvements. Other tasks include supplemental survey, coordination for Public Involvement, TMP, DNR, utilities and coordination with maintenance and bridge sections (both region and BOS). Project ID 2697-00-07: Specific work will include new monotubes at STH 57/167 & Cedarburg Rd. intersections. Multiple curb ramps in the area will need to be evaluated and improved. Anticipated Construction Cost: $8,000,000-$8,999,999 The contract price will be based on an estimate of the selected consultant's actual costs plus fixed fee. Actual costs will be defined as those costs allowable under the cost principles in Part 31 of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). Consultant costs including indirect cost rates and cost accounting system will be subject to audit. Consultant firms that are unable to account for costs consistent with requirements of the FAR are not eligible to contract. Consultants selected will be required to either submit or have on file with WisDOT a Consultant Financial Report prior to contract execution. Advertised Fixed Fee % : 7.25 Fixed Fee Notification : The fixed fee for this contract will apply an indirect cost factor of 150% to the consultant's estimated direct labor, regardless of the consultant's actual indirect rate.
