The Toronto Lands Corporation (TLC), on behalf of the Toronto District School Board (TDSB), acts as asset manager for a portfolio of surplus buildings and undeveloped sites that are leased to third party users in order to create a projection of future capital requirements. The locations in question include; Brookbanks PS; Burnett PS; CB Parsons PS; DB Hood CS; Douglas Park PS; Earlscourt JPS; Gooderham Learning Centre; Kenton PS; McCowan Road JPS; Old Orchard JR PS (TLC site); Queen's Court PS; and Wilmington PS (TLC site). TIMELINE: Under its service agreement with TDSB, TLC is expected to secure updated condition evaluations for its leased portfolio. The last such reports were completed in 2009-2010. The successful consultant is expected to evaluate all major building components and systems. A Request For Proposals has been issued by the Toronto Lands Corporation for consulting services for the provision of condition surveying services. It is the intention of the TDSB to retain a qualified vendor to furnish all labour, materials, equipment, services, transportation and incidentals to perform the following work: consultation and delivery of condition surveying services. Please find enclosed the site-specific requirements (in this document) as well as survey location plans (appendices) for the following project sites. Toronto Lands Corporation requests that each location be evaluated and the successful proponent to Hl provide FCI evaluation scores and costs to bring each site in line with TDSB's average elementary FCI of 51 percent. ENQUIRIES must be directed to the owner prior to Wed Jul 6, 2022 2:00 PM (EDT). The contract for these schools will be awarded to the lowest combined bidder. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
