Foundation Drain Disconnection Project Located at: Area Bounded By: W. Harrison Ave. To W. Kinnickinnic River Pkwy. and S. 60 th St. to S. 72 nd St. Time for Completion: All foundation drain disconnection and sump pump installation work shall be completed by 3/31/2023. All work shall be continuous and the number of allowable working days shall be 160. All photo and video documentation as described in the "Project Details" Section of this contract specification shall be submitted to the Construction Engineer by 4/26/2023. Only Contractors that have been prequalified through MMSD's Private Property Infiltration and Inflow Reduction Municipal Contractors' procurement process are allowed to bid on this work. A copy of the executed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the contractor and MMSD must be provided to the City prior to the bid results being accepted by the City. This contract will include the terms set forth in the MOU and in the City / MMSD - funding agreement M10005MI03. A copy of the funding agreement is included in this bid package. Please note that the prime contractor must be the contractor that performs the majority of the work unless approved by the City prior to bid Liquidated Damages, per diem: $250 Bid Security Required: Bond, Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Cash to accompany bid: 10% of the Contractor's Base Bid. For those bids being submitted through Bid Express and using a manual Bond, the contractor may send a signed/executed copy of the bid bond to the Department of Public Works Contract Office by emailing DPWbids@milwaukee.gov. THE EMAILED COPY OF THE BOND MUST BE RECEIVED BY NO LATER THAN 10:30 A.M. ON THE SAME DATE THAT THE BIDS ARE DUE FOR THAT SPECIFIC OFFICIAL NOTICE, or the bid will be considered non-responsive. The original bid bond document must then be submitted by the contractor to the Department of Public Works Contract Office inperson or by mail to 841 N Broadway, Rm. 506, Milwaukee, WI 53202, immediately upon being notified that they are the apparent low bidder. All Contractors awarded a contract valued at $25,000.00 or more are required to participate in training on the City of Milwaukee's B2GNow contract compliance software within 30 days of the contract award date. Throughout the contract term, Contractors are required to regularly provide timely subcontractor payment information in the City's contract compliance software. The Prime Contractor awarded this project is required to participate in training on the City of Milwaukee's LCP Tracker Labor Compliance Software after the date of contract award.
