Sealed proposals for the Dickson City Borough 2022 Paving and Commerce Boulevard Striping Project Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania, The work on this project will include but is not limited to the milling, base repair, and overlay of existing roads. There is approximately 16,714 square yards of Borough roads contained within this project, including (4) alternates. Also included is the restriping of all pavement markings on Ravine Street and Commerce Boulevard from intersection of Business Route 6 to Ravine Street. Bidders' proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, certified bank treasurer's check, bank cashier's check or bid bond in the form provided in the Contract Documents. A satisfactory corporation surety shall provide security in an amount equal to 10% of the base bid. The surety shall name as payee or obligee the Dickson City Borough. A Non-Collusion Affidavit of Contractor will be required to be signed and notarized prior to the award of any contract. A no-lien agreement will be required to be signed and filed by the contractor before any work begins on the project. Notice is hereby given that the project for which construction proposals are being solicited hereby is a project constituting public works and is subject to applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act of October 27, 1955, P.L. 744, and the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act 442 of August 15, 1961, as amended on August 9, 1963 All proposals shall be irrevocable for sixty (60) days after bid opening date, unless delayed due to required approvals of another governmental agency, and shall be accompanied by 10% bid guaranty, payable to the Owner.
