Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is not expected to start prior to July 2023. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The pavement and structures need treatment to extend their service lives. 7160-00-03: is 1.644 miles on STH 35 from S Junction Riverview Drive to Buffalo Rive, City of Alma, and includes replacing pedestrian railing, concrete surface repair to pedestrian railing post bases, Methacrylate Flood Seal to deck, replacing concrete approach slabs, and replacing sidewalk approaches on B-06-0138, replacing beam guard, roadside clearing, and curb ramp replacement. Stage bridge construction half at a time using temporary traffic signals. BNSF Railroad runs parallel to the Project. Railroad Coordination will be required with a longitudinal agreement needed with BNSF RR. Anticipated Construction Cost: $3,000,000-$3,999,999 The contract price will be based on an estimate of the selected consultant's actual costs plus fixed fee. Actual costs will be defined as those costs allowable under the cost principles in Part 31 of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). Consultant costs including indirect cost rates and cost accounting system will be subject to audit. Consultant firms that are unable to account for costs consistent with requirements of the FAR are not eligible to contract. Consultants selected will be required to either submit or have on file with WisDOT a Consultant Financial Report prior to contract execution.
