The project is construction of a new classroom addition. The project consists of the following bid packages: Selective Demolition Site Work Fencing & Gates Cast-In-Place Concrete Unit Masonry Precast Concrete Slabs Structural & Miscellaneous Steel Cabinets & Countertops Spray Foam Insulation Roofing & Related Accessories Doors, Frames & Hardware Aluminum Windows & Glazing Gypsum Board Assemblies Flooring Seamless Flooring & Base Acoustical Ceilings Painting & Caulking Specialties / General Works Protective Covers Plumbing Fire Sprinkler System HVAC Electrical & Low Voltage Tyson Construction, Inc. highly encourages participation by all local and minority subcontractors, suppliers and vendors. Proposals must be submitted in duplicate. No proposal may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after time has been called on the date of opening. This package will include all site demolition, grading and earthwork, erosion control measures and site utilities in compliance with all Project Documents. - Demolition of concrete sidewalks, fencing and site utilities is included in this package. - Demolition of buildings and building foundations will be by others. - Earthwork includes staking, import of all necessary fill & export of any excess. All subgrades for buildings, sidewalks, paving and landscape areas shall be within +/- 0.1' - Erosion control includes temporary & permanent grass seeding or sodding and maintenance of erosion control measures. - Site utilities includes domestic water, sanitary sewer, downspout piping and storm drainage. Fire protection water supply will be by others. - Demolition, capping and tapping into existing utility systems as indicated is included in this scope of work. - Extend the domestic water, fire sprinkler water and sanitary sewer services to within 5' of the point of entry in the new building. Final connections to these services will be by others. - The connection of the roof drainage system (if required) to downspouts is included in this scope of work. - Any directional boring or cutting & patching of existing features necessary to complete this scope of work are included in this package.
