Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Wood Dale, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

As of July 21 the project was awarded to R.W. Dunteman Co for $4,374,826.88. The work consists of the resurfacing, rehabilitation, and reconstruction of approximately 7 miles of local roadways at approximately ten (10) areas throughout the City along with associated storm sewer and water main utility improvements. Items of work include pavement surface removal, pavement removal, hot-mix asphalt paving, utility structure adjustments, intermittent combination concrete curb and gutter replacement, sidewalk replacement, driveway pavement replacement, Thermoplastic pavement markings, traffic control and protection, final restoration, and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the project as shown on the Plans and described herein. All proposals must be accompanied by a bid guarantee consisting of a bid bond, a cashiers check, or certified check in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid. Failure of the U.S. Post Office or any other messenger service to deliver the bid on time will not be the responsibility of the City of Wood Dale. The bidders accept full responsibility for timely delivery of their bids. The City of Wood Dale is not liable for any costs incurred in submitting a bid. The City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any technicalities. The City of Wood Dale also reserves the right to delay the bid opening for a reasonable time and/or to make changes to the projects specifications by means of bid addendum which will be mailed to all interested parties that have obtained bid documents.
