Development of an inclusive park, located on land totaling approx. 2 acres, at the intersection of Main Street and Eastern Avenue. This will be the second phase of the re-development of the former Parrsboro Town Hall property. The first phase is the construction of an inclusive playground (contract for the playground design and construction has been awarded, construction will be completed by June 2023). Scope of work to include a new public washroom facility as well as a gathering facility. TIMELINE: The owner seeking proposals from consultants to provide planning and design services. Final design is anticipated in early spring 2023. Further update, pending award of contract. *Budget is unreleased.
