The Texas General Land Office ("GLO") seeks a highly skilled contractor for coastal construction services for the repair to the Dellanera Park Beach in Galveston County, Texas (the "Project"). The overall goal of the Project is to address sediment losses due to Hurricane Harvey that impacted the site in August 2017. The work will include mechanically placing approximately 118,668 cubic yards of beach quality sand along 2,100 linear feet of the beach. This Project will restore the beach to pre-storm (Harvey) conditions and ultimately keep the beach within standards to qualify for future maintenance and storm repairs. This is pursuant to the scope of FEMA Public Assistance Project Worksheet No. 7433 held by the City of Galveston Park Board of Trustees.
