St. Clair County Regional Education Service Agency Administration Building is located at 499 Range Road, in the City of Marysville, Michigan. The work includes, but is not limited to:
1. Replacement of 750kVA oil filled primary transformer with a 500kVA less-flammable liquid insulated transformer.
a. Base bid: Provide new transformer
b. Alternative 1: Provide re-manufactured transformer
c. Include lead times as part of bid
2. Allowance for replacement of secondary conductors from transformer to ATS.
3. Temporary power for data center UPS's and associated cooling, allowable building down-time is a maximum of thirty minutes. Sealed proposals will be received for the construction and completion of the project as follows: General Electrical Construction Work Including Associated Architectural Trades. Proposal Guarantee - A certified check or bank draft payable to SCC RESA or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and surety company, in an amount equal to not less than ten percent (10%) of the maximum proposal amount, shall be submitted with each proposal. The successful bidders will be required to furnish a satisfactory performance bond, and labor and material payment bond in amounts each of one hundred percent (100%) of the accepted bid. Right to Reject any or all proposals, either in whole or part, and to waive any informalities therein, is reserved by the Owner. Withdrawal of any Proposal is prohibited for a period of ninety (90) days after the time for opening of proposals. Insurance - The successful Bidder will be required to maintain Liability Insurance, Contractor's Liability for Bodily injury, sickness, disease and property damage and Fire and Extended Insurance in accordance with the General Conditions.
