The USDA Forest Service, Coronado National Forest, Tucson Arizona, has a requirement to replace the roof of the Columbine Visitors Center. The project includes removing existing roofing on approximately 1500 sq ft and replace with new roofing materials and all appurtenances. Replace damaged sub-roof (estimate 20%) with new decking material and install ice and water shields, 24" minimum width along roof eaves. Install approximately 200 LF of metal gutters to include 4 downspouts. All work shall be completed in accordance with the project specifications. The project includes all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform all the operations for the work specified. 2. Type of Award. As a result of this solicitation, the Government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed-Price Construction Contract using Simplified Acquisition with Request For Quote (RFQ) format.
