Box 2048 Huntsville, Alabama 35804 Personal Delivery: Huntsville Utilities Attn: Miranda Duke 112 Spragins Street Huntsville, Alabama 35801 The bids are being solicited for the Overhead Fiber Line Construction Project for Huntsville Utilities Fiber Department in Huntsville, Alabama. Bids will be accepted only from qualified General Contractors licensed by the State of Alabama. Only bids of such Contractors who are licensed by the State of Alabama prior to the date of the bid opening will be considered. Scope of Work includes a Blanket Construction Contract that performs and specializes in Fiber GPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Network) Construction. These areas cover aerial construction, Fiber installation, Fiber splicing and testing. Line items as described in the Specifications and Contract Documents are an integral part of this Contract. A cashier's check or a bid bond payable to the City of Huntsville, Alabama, d/b/a/ Huntsville Utilities for an amount not less than 5% of the contractor's bid, but in no event more than $10,000.00, will be required to accompany each contractor's bid. Performance and Payment bonds are required for this project. The right to reject any and all bids is reserved.
